Culinary Workshops and Cultural Integration
The kitchen transformed into a learning space this week when our volunteers, together with BIP participants, took part in a vibrant food workshop. The event was more than just a cooking lesson — it became an opportunity for cultural exchange, where participants shared flavors and traditions from different backgrounds. Working together to prepare traditional dishes allowed them not only to develop their culinary skills but also to better understand the history and meaning behind each recipe. The workshop concluded with a friendly competition, during which participants presented their dishes, aiming to best capture the spirit of the event. The winning team included our volunteer Mostafa. Overall, the experience highlighted how food can bring people together beyond cultural differences, creating space for integration, cooperation, and mutual understanding.
