Short Arabic Language Course
In May, our volunteer Mostafa organized a short Arabic language course for interested participants. Many people signed up – not only students and employees of Akademia WSB, but also members of the local community from outside the university. The classes introduced participants to basic Arabic vocabulary, the Arabic alphabet, and the most commonly used everyday expressions. In addition, the volunteer shared many interesting facts related to the Arabic language and presented words that sound very similar to Polish words. The course was conducted entirely in English.
Mostafa was supported by our second volunteer, Gisselle, who helped prepare the presentations and assisted him during the classes.
The course attracted a lot of interest, and participants showed great engagement throughout all meetings. Many attendees regularly participated in the classes, actively took part in exercises, and asked about the possibility of organizing more language and cultural workshops in the future. After completing the course, participants received certificates confirming their participation and completion of the course.
